6月12日，由国际公共交通联会（UITP）组织的第63届世界公共交通大会及展览会在瑞典斯德哥尔摩圆满闭幕。深圳巴士集团公交全面电动化项目摘得大会评审团授予的“最高荣誉奖”（Outstanding Achievement Award）。本次会议有来自全球超过350家公交机构、政府部门、交通运输企业等出席，是全球最大的可持续发展交通活动。巴士集团副总经理马正源和国际业务与品牌部副经理廖茗钰作为代表上台领奖， 颁奖嘉宾是来自迪拜陆路与交通管理局的主席H.E. Mattar Mohammed AL TAYER。
会议前，国际公共交通联会面向全球公交企业和机构征集UITP Awards 2019的八大类奖项。深圳巴士集团通过推动全球电动化进程、对城市环保的特殊贡献，被大会评审团授予“最高荣誉奖”。
June 12, UITP 63rd Global Public Transport Summit held its closing ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden. Shenzhen Bus Group (SZBG) won its “Outstanding Achievement Award” among all the participants of the summit. More than 350 public transport operators, government authorities, mobility services providers attended the summit, it is the world's largest sustainable transportation event. Joe Ma Chingyuen, Deputy General Manager of SZBG and Hallie Liao, Head of International Development received the award on behalf of SZBG from H.E. Mattar Mohammed AL TAYER, Director General, Chairman of Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai, UEA.
Prior to the conference, UITP recruited eight categories of UITP Awards from global bus operators and institutions. SZBG was awarded the “Outstanding Achievement Award” by the jury of the summit, for its outstanding achievements in promoting the electrification process and its special contribution to urban environmental protection.
Since June 2017, SZBG has taken the lead in achieving comprehensive electrification of public transportation. The number of electric buses has reached 6053, making it the largest electric bus operation enterprise in the world. In December 2017, Shenzhen Bus Group successfully test run autonomous bus – Alfaba, which is also the world's first bus intelligent driving test on open road.In September of the following year, 4,681 taxis in the Shenzhen area were fully electrified, becoming the largest electric taxi operator in the country.
The three-day conference covered innovative transportation solutions and products in most cities and regions around the world. As the “first show” overseas, SZBG demonstrated its innovative experience of electrification, intelligent dispatching systems, on-demand buses and autonomous driving. SZBG’s booth had seen 15,000 guests from 35 countries. They were amazed by the full electrification of SZBG and eager to consult the experience of the electrification process.
Ma Chingyuen, Deputy General Manager of SZBG, was elected the chairman of the Taxi & Ride hailing committee of UITP. He hosted various seminars at the conference and received an exclusive interview. Joe introduced the fleet electrification process of SZBG expressing that SZBG will actively participate and contribute to the global public transportation industry.
